Assignment & brand

The starting point.

Develop a Converse brand-media proposal for the Theories of Mass Communication final project. The retained material explores a platform called Converse TV.

Insight & approach

The thought behind it.

The layouts place human stories and entertainment alongside the product: “Walking in My Converse” and “The Next Chuck” offer two routes into the brand. This premise is visible in the mockups; no tested audience finding is asserted.

Concept & execution

How it takes shape.

Several long-page web layouts explore programme navigation, hero content and show presentation. Two retained films expand the idea: a Converse TV manifesto ending “Made for Misfits” and a promo for The Next Chuck. Both use existing brand and entertainment footage with proposed title cards. The layouts and films are concept executions; no live channel or confirmed participation by featured personalities is established.

Development / The thinking in motion

Explore how the channel introduces its stories

The Converse TV materials try several ways to introduce the same two programme ideas: Walking in My Converse and The Next Chuck.

Compare the first screen

Some layouts lead with a single programme and an episode rail; others give both shows equal space at the top. Variations in the Converse TV mark, hero treatment and content hierarchy explore how the channel could introduce itself.

Connect the interface to moving image

A Converse TV manifesto and a separate Next Chuck promo carry the platform and competition ideas into film. They use assembled brand and entertainment footage, rather than documenting a produced original series.
