Assignment & brand

The starting point.

The typography final asks for visual poetry. Anton’s project uses his experience at the beginning of lockdown as the subject and a travel document as its organizing form.

Insight & approach

The thought behind it.

The contrast is direct: a boarding pass normally promises movement, but this one leads to an indefinite wait. The poem records changing routines, distance from home and the disappearance of familiar markers of time.

Concept & execution

How it takes shape.

A six-page visual poem turns the language of travel into a story of lockdown: a cover, an introduction and four illustrated poem spreads. The boarding pass and dotted flight paths link personal writing with the experience of a journey postponed. Read the complete work below in its original order; every page opens at full size.
