Assignment & brand
Explore a new service idea for BetterHelp. BetterHike imagines guided trips to U.S. national parks, with different formats for one-to-one, group and self-guided participation.
Insight & approach
The original insight slide connects the isolation of the pandemic with a desire to get outside and reconnect. This is a creative starting point, not clinical research or a claim that hiking substitutes for professional care.
Concept & execution
The deck develops a three-day guided format, accommodation and planning considerations, differing activity levels and a quieter audio-guided alternative. It also explores copy, social promotion and a park-specific bracelet as a conversation starter after the trip. The work demonstrates service concepting and communication planning; therapeutic effects and operational viability were not tested in the retained materials.
Development / The thinking in motion
BetterHike develops the same outdoor-wellbeing premise through several service formats, rather than a single fixed itinerary.
The deck considers individual trips, group trips and a more private audio-guided route. Food, accommodation, route planning and different fitness levels make the proposed experience more concrete.
Several headlines connect mental space with a physical journey. Editorial coverage, creator partnerships and a park-specific bracelet are proposed ways to introduce the service and give the trip a lasting reminder.
