Assignment & brand
Create an experiential communication idea around The Great Hack. The team explored how a documentary about data exploitation could move beyond a screen and make its subject tangible to a visitor.
Insight & approach
The manifesto contrasts the feeling of having data stolen with the everyday act of giving it away. Long terms of service and routine digital interactions become the starting point for a question: how much do we understand about the information we release?
Concept & execution
The Walking Path uses a mirrored exterior, a staged sequence of projected information, a manifesto and a film trailer. Floor plans, spatial views and social mockups show how the proposed experience would unfold. The original deck also considers participation consent and temporary use of information. The portfolio presents the communication and installation concept; no data-collection system was built here.
Development / The thinking in motion
The Walking Path turns the deck’s concern about everyday data sharing into an experience that a visitor could physically move through.
The spatial proposal considers the mirrored entrance, the point of opt-in and the information projected along the floor. A hologram and film trailer give that journey a beginning and an ending. These are planned interactions shown in renders and diagrams.
The team developed manifesto copy, an assembled film and social mockups around the same premise. The social examples describe the response the campaign hoped to provoke, rather than a response it received.
